Bench Test Kit How-To:
You’ve received your bench test kit, let’s put it to good use! Follow along with the video, or see step by step & contact instructions below.
Each bench test kit contains Power Pellets™ and SAP (super absorbent polymer.) If needed, SDS document for each can be obtained from visiting our website.
1. Prep
Unpack your kit, and start by turning on your scale, placing the empty cup on the platform and setting the “TARE” to 0.0. This will allow you to measure the weight of the contents only, without the cup’s weight included.
2. Mix
Add 20 oz. of your waste or liquid material to the cup. Separately, measure 2 oz. Power Pellets (or 10% by weight of the waste material), and add that to your test cup. Mix well and let stand for 5-10 minutes.
*If using the SAP (super absorbent polymer) add only 1-2% by weight.
3. Review
Examine the result to determine tightness and dryness. Feel free to re-test with less or more Power Pellets to reach a desired result.
You should have enough product to test this 5-7 more times if needed!
Note: Room temperature waste materials provide best results. These products are not intended for use with hydrocarbons, and the closer to neutral in pH will yield the better the result.
